MY STORY:

A lifelong painter and visual artist, I started getting my feet wet (well, hands, actually) in the darkroom when I was 13, and continued my artistic & photographic training at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

In 1999 I began working for Casting Directors in NYC, and have since worked at about a dozen casting offices, talent agencies, and management companies in New York and Los Angeles. I spent over a year growing a new and thriving theatrical department at one agency in Los Angeles.

I now put all my unique industry knowledge and experiences to work for you.

One of my main inspirations and biggest influences, has been my relative, pioneering photojournalist Margaret Bourke-White, who captured the first cover of LIFE Magazine, World War II, and Gandhi. She has been portrayed on-screen by Candice Bergen (Gandhi) and Farrah Fawcett (Double Exposure: The Margaret Bourke-White Story). She died almost exactly ten years before I was born.

Countless clients have booked their very first roles right after shooting with me, as well as series regulars on TV, leads in feature films, and everything in between.

It is not uncommon for me to refer actors to specific agents or managers.

I have been shooting headshots professionally since 2006.

In 2009 and 2010 I was voted Backstage Reader's Choice Runner Up for Favorite Headshot Photographer (in NYC in 2009 and in Los Angeles in 2010).
